Chester St David's High School homestay ages 14 - 18
The 2000-year-old city of Chester was built by the Romans as a defence against the ferocious Welsh tribes and remained so long after they had withdrawn. Still surrounded by a red sandstone wall - the most complete in Britain - the town is one of the most beautiful in the north of England. The EAC summer school takes place at St David’s High School, located in the suburb of Saltney, 3 miles form Chester city centre. The school campus houses the classrooms, refectory, large sports hall, ample playing fields, a Baseball Diamond and 4 tennis courts. There is also a large hall for evening activities. Internet and library facilities are available in the school on a timetabled basis. The suburb of Saltney is well served with shops, banks, restaurants etc and regular buses run into the city centre – the journey takes approximately 10 minutes. Broughton Park shopping centre.
