Kingston Upon Hull University of Hull residential ages 12 - 18
Kingston Upon Hull is the principle city of the East Riding of Yorkshire some 34 miles southeast of York. Nestling north of the Humber estuary Hull is of great commercial importance as the main port for the northeast of England. Historically linked with freedom and liberty, it was a Hull politician and statesman, William Wilberforce who campaigned tirelessly for the abolition of slavery, something that Hull citizens are still proud of today. The EAC summer school takes place at the beautifully landscaped campus called The Lawns, in the quiet residential area of Cottingham. The Lawns are very close to the local amenities in Cottingham, and only a twenty minute bus ride from the centre of Kingston upon Hull.
